It's almost may
I sat next to a mouth breather in chem today. after a while i noticed and it was really annoying. and gross.
and
kiwi's smell like our backyard. not the typical inside of kiwi smell but if you smell the outside before they are ripe. i guess they smell like kiwi plants. which smells a lot like our backyard.
and
i may be celebrating too early but i think i found a topic for my paper.
its about the idea of the frontier and how that is a part of america and american ideal. the idea of taming the frontier and yet it is full of endless possibilities. however the literal idea of frontier is gone, we have tamed the american wilderness coast to coast. so the new frontier is not land but knowledge. scientific breakthroughs. maybe its all the science fairs but for some reason that idea sticks in my mind. the frontier of science, of knowledge. and it is similar because with new knowledge we are still taming the earth, taming the elements. by pushing the frontier we are discovering new things, and bettering life for ourselves. and now the boundries really are limitless. as far as we know there is no west coast that will end the search. its also the idea of new. the idea that every person has the possibility to discover something no one has seen before, go where no man has gone before. ooh thats a good one, tie star trek into it. our longing for something new and different. once the difference was physical space, new places. now it is mostly mental new ideas, new concepts, new items, new things.
so we'll see how that goes over at my meeting with my TA tomorrow. :)
