Herbal Medicine IS real
The readings in my Concepts in Herbal Medicine class are confirming my hope that many of our current medicines are derived from plants. Yet somewhere in our comsumer culture many of us have been taugh to believe that we can only be cured by medicines from the drugstore. I really think people should be taught more about the healing power of different plants.
Now I will go do hw and continue my rant another time.

We saw this in my American Studies class the other day. There was a guest lecturer who was talking about anti-americanism in the americas, specifically south and central. The Three Caballeros was Disney's way of trying to bring the Americas together and show unity. Donald, the US, Parrot, Brazil, and Rooster, mexico. I was so stoked to see the video, its bee probably about 13 or more years.

What a trip to se those three happy chappies in your college course !!
I just looked on Amazon for the DVD of the Three Caballeros, the cheapest was $50. I was shocked. I did see it in VHS format much cheaper.
College is good for connecting the dots and completing the circles but I never would have guessed the Three Happy Chappies would be there.
