Pretty Bird

While i was sitting in the library i saw what looked like, and was, a dead bird on the ground outside. A Steller's Jay then landed on the ground near the dead bird.

I thought oh no, its not going to... no way... oh. my. god. it is!!!

The Jay casually stood around and took a couple good tears out of the dead bird before taking off.

My friend and I both stared in aw and discussed avian cannibalism, which is very common in chickens.
